AUBURN, Ala.- Work is underway on the North Dean Road and East University Drive improvements project, which is expected to last through December. The project will include adding dual left-turn lanes on North Dean Road for westbound and eastbound turns, new decorative traffic signals and resurfacing.

Periodic lane closures are expected during the work, which will take place on weekdays between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. No work will take place on Fridays before home Auburn University football games.

Traffic control measures will be in place to help motorists navigate around the closures. Drivers are advised to use caution in the area and to take alternate routes to avoid delays.
